GHI001 House of Zen ep
The House of Zen ep is 3 tracks of sly, spacey house.
Horse Badorties has a thick woozy synth at its core, woken by pinging bells and dubby snares. Swing is the thing in this self-assured slab of loony house.
Takeshi Beat goes via a jacking groove, lumpy bass line and rude synth stabs, to a destination of plucked wood and blown glass. Like some geisha instrumental duet in a rural Japanese garden, Takeshi puts some Zen in the house.
All at One Point centres around a generous Caribbean style bell riff which sashays its way through a paradise of popping rhythms and cheeky squirts.
