GHI005 House of Zen 2
Did you know that some clams can live for up to 700 years? Grandfather Clam was made after hearing of a 450 year old one pulled from the North Sea. Contemplating the open spaces of the seabed, this is a light but sassy groover, reminiscent of some classic 90s ambient techno.
Alma is a rickety procession of live drums and percussion topped with interlacing pipey synths. The result? A simple yet genre-defying cameo full of naïve optimism and yearning.
Airborne is layers of the lofty fx-guitar work of Alfredo Genovesi. The addition of Paul May’s stick thin groove and Lazonby’s prodding synths maintain a steady altitude throughout.
